Freelance platform, Upwork released a report for CNBC.com detailing job categories that can fetch up to $80,000 per year, and web developers, specialising in full-stack web development are among the list of freelancers who enjoy such earnings.

This comes as no surprise as businesses move online and experience the advantages of digitisation, increasing the need for developers who can produce digital solutions.

Thus, there is a growing demand for full-stack developers who possess the knowledge of both back-end and front-end software and all related technologies.

Caltech CTME and Simplilearn launch full-stack web development postgraduate programme

Caltech’s Center for Technology and Management Education’s Post Graduate Program in Full Stack Web Development was recently launched in collaboration with Simplilearn, an online boot camp for digital economy skills training.

Caltech’s new certification programme joins the likes of Caltech CTME’s open-enrollment offerings in software engineering, such as DevOps and Cloud Computing.

The programme delivery is through a blended-learning approach that combines live online classes, self-paced learning, labs and projects, extensive peer-interaction, and 24/7 access to Teaching Assistants.

Additionally, students have the opportunity to join masterclasses taught by Caltech CTME instructors who have extensive real-world experience in coding and web-based architecture.

The programme’s comprehensive curriculum covers the concepts of Angular, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Servlets, and JSPs, MVC, JavaScript, iQuery, and Node.js, MongoDB, and many more.

Penn LPS Coding Bootcamp for web developers

Penn Boot Camps also offers a coding boot camp that can prepare individuals with the in-demand skills necessary for a career in web development.
