There has never been a better time than now to bolster your credentials with cloud computing certifications. COVID-19 has accelerated the demand for cloud solutions and services, which spells opportunities for cloud professionals who can manage the technology.

According to reports, the global cloud computing market size is expected to grow from US$371.4 billion in 2020 to US$832.1 billion by 2025.

PwC notes that businesses and government entities alike will likely continue to need greater infrastructure capacity — computing, storage and networking — but are increasingly seeking cloud-centered hybrid architectures to provide those services.

Meanwhile, the US Bureau of Labor Statistics projects that employment in computer and information technology occupations will grow 11% from 2019 to 2029, much faster than the average for all occupations.

“These occupations are projected to add about 531,200 new jobs. Demand for these workers will stem from greater emphasis on cloud computing, the collection and storage of big data, and information security,” it said.

Without a doubt, the future looks bright for cloud computing professionals who want to update their credentials.

Cloud computing certifications are aplenty, but which should you choose? Here are some worth considering:
