Imperial College Business School offers master’s scholarships
Imperial College Business School has partnered with Bright Network to launch a new scholarship scheme for master’s programmes.
Bright Network, a dedicated network for connecting students and graduates with opportunities, insights, and advice to succeed as the workforce of tomorrow is partnering with Imperial to offer scholarships worth up to £10,000 per student and will be available for multiple applicants.
This is the first scholarship provided by a UK university alongside the Bright Network and will focus on all 13 master’s programmes offered at Imperial, beginning in September 2021.
The scholarship scheme will also be available for the Master’s in International Management and the Master’s in Finance programmes.
These scholarships are available for anyone who is a member of the Bright Network and candidates will have to show strong professional, or community experience, leadership potential, a clear career plan, and academic merit in their application.
Executive Director of Marketing, Recruitment & Admissions at Imperial College Business School, Joel McConnell, said: “With more than 400,000 members, the Bright Network is an important partner to Imperial College Business School, particularly from the perspective of welcoming a highly diverse set of backgrounds and experiences to our MSc programmes.”
McConnel added that while student excellence is essential to the admissions process at Imperial College, the school goes through great lengths to ensure that as an institution, there is also a focus on including historically underrepresented student profiles in our incoming cohorts.
“The students that come to Imperial expect to be studying with other talented and ambitious people, and we have decided to offer scholarships to Bright Network members because of the outstanding applicant profiles we’ve seen from the organisation, and the contributions they make to the broader student experience at our institution,” McConnell added.
The application deadline for the scholarship is 1st March 2021 for all master’s programmes, except the MSc Finance and MSc International Management, for which the application deadline is 17th February 2021.
James Uffindell, CEO & Founder of Bright Network, said that the network is excited to be working with Imperial College Business School on this initiative and is a great next step for the partnership.
“Our common mission to support young people and drive forward social mobility is so important at this challenging time,” Uffindell said.
This scholarship provides a unique opportunity for students to be part of a world-leading institution, develop core business skills and fulfil their future potential.
Imperial also currently offers an application fee waiver for applications from Bright Network Members to their master’s programmes.
This scholarship is a continuation of the work that the Bright Network does, being the go-to place for students to connect with employers, and increase their knowledge, insight, and opportunities in the graduate workplace.
