UT Dallas: Stellar career outcomes for GLEMBA graduates

The Global Leadership MBA (GLEMBA) program at The University of Texas at Dallas Naveen Jindal School of Management has many accolades to its credit. It was awarded Best Global Online Executive MBA Program in Texas by CEO Magazine, ranked fifth among US programs and 16th in the world by QS Online MBA Rankings 2021, and named No. 36 overall among Best Online MBA Programs in 2021 by Fortune, cementing its excellence in business education.

Illustrious awards aside, many program graduates have benefitted from salary increases and improved job prospects after attaining the critically acclaimed Global Leadership MBA (GLEMBA), according to a recent return on investment-focused alumni survey. Nearly 51% of graduates received promotions upon completing the program, while just under 11% started or advanced a business. Graduate Holly Martin says she learned key skills that made it easier to prove her ability to lead at J.B. Hunt. “Because of this program, I was able to present within my organization to five different groups, which led to a promotion, an invitation to assist with three special projects as a new manager, and an appointment as a co-chair to lead professional development for an internal employee resource group,” she shares. Today, she is a customer experience manager at the American transportation and logistics company.

Robert Pritchett, who had already accumulated over a decade of professional experience prior to starting the GLEMBA program, was eager to hone his leadership skills. Today, the alum considers his GLEMBA journey to have been “transformational.” In 2010, Pritchett began his journey at Bridgestone Americas — a leader in tire and rubber technologies — as an area sales manager. He is now their director.

“Every course, from accounting to marketing management –– had a global perspective. It had an emphasis on being a lifelong leader and lifelong learner,” he says. “I’ve graduated as a professional who looks at business very differently. As leaders, we can drive significant impact through thoughtful decision making. We are also capable of doing great work that is much bigger than ourselves.”
